Good Food, Good People - Brasserie Sixty6

Hello! Last week I visited Brasserie Sixty6 as when I asked on Snapchat (penneystoprada) which restaurants in Dublin people recommended, so many mentioned it. I had such a positive experience in Brasserie Sixty6 from the moment I waked in the door and if you want to know more about the amazing food and also the friendly staff, then keep reading!


As soon as you walk into Brasserie Sixty6, there's such a buzz in the air. When we arrived, we were greeted by Anthony, who is one of the reasons I enjoyed this restaurant so much. He showed us to our table, talked us through the various menu options available and was so friendly, something I think is very important when it comes to any restaurant experience. 


I chose the smoked chicken caesar salad for my starter and Rosie, the very lovely girl who looked after us, told me that the chicken was actually smoked right there in the restaurant. For my main course I had a half rotisserie chicken which came with some gorgeous mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables, and the most delicious gravy I had ever tasted! 


Now, I myself have read some restaurant reviews in the past and have thought, "The food can't actually be as 'amazing' as this person is making it out to be," but I promise you, when I say that this meal (the chocolate truffle cake especially) was one of the best meals I have eaten, I am being totally honest. Everything had it's own unique and delicious flavour and I was in foodie heaven. 


Above I've included pictures of the two set menus available in Brasserie Sixty6 and there is also an A La Carte menu available. These menus provide you with amazing food for a very decent price and I couldn't recommend Brasserie Sixty6 highly enough. The staff were so friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back and have another slice of that chocolate truffle cake!
