My Beauty Travel Essentials

9.12.16

Hello! I've been doing a bit more travelling recently, and have found that every time I'm packing my suitcase, or overnight bag, I'm reaching for the same beauty products over and over again so I thought I'd share them with you all!

Skincare:

I find that skincare products actually take up more space than my make-up does when I'm travelling so I tend to only bring the bare essentials with me. The Kiehls Midnight Recovery and Organic Surge Ultra Light Moisturiser are two products that I always make sure to take with me as they keep my skin really moisturised. I will sometimes bring a 'proper' cleanser or face scrub with me if I'm going to be away for longer than a few nights but most of the time I just bring my Garnier Micellar Water and a few cotton pads from Penneys to take off my make-up.

Whilst a toothbrush is technically not 'skincare', it is a beauty essential for me and I recently bought this Philips Sonicare Rose Gold Toothbrush (which Boots currently have on sale) and it even comes with it's own travel case. As for haircare, I recently got these two mini versions of Kérastase Elixir Ultime Shampoo and Elixir Ultime Oil from Shampoo.ie and they've been really handy to pop in my bag when I'm travelling.

Make-Up:

Like I said above, when I'm travelling I don't bring a huge amount of make-up with me, just what I 100% 'need'. One product I will never travel without is mascara and the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is my absolute favourite at the moment. Two other products that I always take with me are L'Oreal's True Match Foundation and Benefit's Precisely My Brow Pencil. Although I do try lots of new foundations, I always find myself going back to the True Match and when I'm travelling I like to have it with me because I know it works.

I've mentioned the Penneys Felt Eyeliner before (read more here) and I still absolutely swear by it. I've also been really loving the Youngblood Ultimate Concealer for concealing my under eye circles and it's perfect to pop in my make-up bag as it's super compact!
