The Last of The Big Spenders

22.5.16

Hello! So I'm sure you've guessed from the above picture that this is a 'haul' type post, and a rather large one at that! You all seem to really love seeing what I've bought recently and over the last month or so I've picked up quite a few (more like way too many) gorgeous pieces, so here they are!

Bag (similar), Purse, Shorts

First up is Stradivarius, a shop that I've fallen head over heels for recently. Their stuff is always on trend and it isn't going to break the bank either. When I saw the bohemian pattern of these shorts and how loose and comfy they looked, I had to have them as they'll be perfect when it gets a little warmer. As for the tote bag, I'll admit I definitely don't need yet another bag but it's big enough to use as a 'weekend bag' and I loved the quote.

Dress (similar)
You'll see further down that I've bought another stripped dress in a very similar shape to this one. I love that I can wear dresses like this with a denim jacket and Vans and be super comfy. I couldn't find this top (€9.95) on the Stradivarius website any more but it's very tight fitting and I love wearing this tucked into high waisted jeans so that it looks like a bodysuit.

Denim Bomber
I saw this denim bomber jacket as soon as it come onto the Stradivarius website and it was love at first sight. I resisted temptation for as long as possible until I saw it was on sale for €19.95 and for that price, I couldn't stop myself! It's still on sale so if you want to grab a bargain, just click the link under the caption!

Leather Biker Jacket
If I could only own one jacket for the rest of my life, this would be it. First of all, the colour is just gorgeous, and really on trend (it is one of Pantone's Colour of The Year after all) and second of all, the leather is so soft and comfortable, and the way the jacket is cut is so flattering.

Moving onto Zara, my new favourite shop! Would you believe me if I told you that my first Zara purchase only happened last month?! I'm sure you can see a navy and white stripped theme here. I love this floaty top (€9.95) and this is the dress (€15.95) I mentioned earlier. The material of this dress is really flattering as although the dress is a 'bodycon' fit, it doesn't cling at all.

Penneys have had some amazing sales recently and I picked up the red blazer for €7 and the cream jacket for €9. They're both very light and are perfect for the summer paired with jeans and a t-shirt.

Jamie jeans by Topshop
My next two purchases are something I consider necessities. I wear skinny jeans almost every day and the 'Jamie' jeans from Topshop are by far the best out there for the price (in my humble opinion). They're the perfect fit the whole way down my leg, tight at the ankles and the knees but still have enough room in the bum area, what more could you want!

If you've seen my 'Vintage Levi's & Leather Vans' outfit post then you'll have seen these bad boys. I didn't know Vans had an 'outlet' section of their website and when I had a look through what they had on offer and saw these beauties for €78 down from €120, I had to have them.

The other day I took a trip to Kilkenny with my friend and popped into H&M as they had big 'sale' signs in the windows. I picked up this gorgeous sun dress with a cut out detail on the back for just €10!

I also picked up a basic tee for €4.99. I love the colour of this t-shirt and the material is so soft and comfy. I then had a quick look in TKMaxx and spotted this Herschel iPad Mini case by the checkouts.

This case was only €9.99 and when I got home I price checked it on Amazon where it's almost €35 so I definitely nabbed myself a bargain!

A few more things from Zara and Penneys next. This t-shirt was €9.95 from Zara and when I read what the slogan said, I couldn't leave it behind. The boho style bucket bag was on sale from Penneys for €5 and the super cute tumbler cup was €4.

I'm sure by now my rose gold obsession has become more than apparent and if you didn't know before, well then you'll definitely know by looking at the above picture. All of the rose gold jewellery I picked up from Penneys recently is under €4 so you can't really go wrong! These embellished sandals were €18 and have a real leather upper and I know I'll get so much wear out of them in the summer!

I decided to call this post 'The Last of The Big Spenders' as I'm going to try and put myself on a spending ban as far as clothes and shoes are concerned! I'm sure I'll pick up a few things here and there and I'll be sure to show them to you all, but I definitely have enough clothes to last me a lifetime at this stage!

I hope you enjoyed this post and as always, thank you so much for reading!
