Tomitago - Homegrown Skincare

11.1.16

Hello, I hope you're all having a lovely Monday so far! Recently I've been really into my skincare, and I've been trying out a few different brands and products to find what suits my skin. Tomitago is one of the brands I've been trying out and it just so happens that Louise, who founded Tomitago, only lives about fifteen minutes from me. What a small world it is! If you love natural skincare and like to support Irish companies, then keep reading to find out what I thought of these Tomitago products!

I've been using each of these three Tomitago products for the last month, I always like to throughly try out products before I review them for all of you. The first product I'm going to talk about today is the Combi Exfoliator/Mask. This is a 2-in-1 product and I love that! I usually apply this as a mask, rubbing it on, and leave it sit for about 20 minutes. Then once I want to wash it off, I make use of the exfoliating granules present in the mask and massage them into my skin as I use warm water and a face cloth to wash it off. The Combi mask leaves my skin very bright and I find it really helps clear out my pores.

The next product is the Body Oil and the first thing I'll say about this is I LOVE how it smells! It has quite a unisex smell so you could even let your other half borrow it if he wanted to. I apply this to my legs and arms before going to sleep at night and it leaves my skin full of moisture, something I really need during the cold weather.

I think I've definitely saved the best for last. While I loved all three of the Tomitago products that I tried, the Elixir is by far my favourite. I've used this every single night since I got it and when it runs out, I'll be buying another. I'm not too sure what magical ingredient the Elixir contains that my skin loves so much, but since using this, my skin is hydrated and a lot clearer. I also found that the texture of my skin has changed since using it, which is a big plus. When applying the Elixir, you use the spatula provided and you don't need a huge amount, then you warm it between your finger tips and it turns into a serum and then you simply apply it to your face.

Louise says this can be used as an eye serum, a face serum a day and night moisturiser and a make-up primer. As I have quite oily skin, I tend to only use this at night but I could definitely see how it would work as a make-up primer for someone with dryer skin. I've left links to the Tomitago website and all the products below so make sure you check them out! There is also an option to buy all three of these products together for a reduced price so I'll link that too.

Have you tried any of the Tomitago skincare products? Let me know in the comments! I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading.
