Keeping My Make-Up Brushes Clean

28 December 2014

Hello there, long time no talk! I don't think I was fully prepared for how hectic working in retail for Christmas would be, so I apologise for my absence! It's only now that I've gotten a pretty bad chest infection and have had to take a few days off that I've finally had time to blog again. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas full of eating and spending time with your loved ones!

Today I am going to share with you how I keep my make-up brushes clean. I bought Penneys' new Make-Up Brush Cleaner for €2.50 about a month ago just to see what it was like. Before I bought this I used to spot clean my brushes every few days with a baby wipe and then deep clean them with baby shampoo every two weeks. As I don't wear a full face of make-up everyday my make-up brushes don't get as dirty so I don't need to clean them every week.

Using the Make-Up Brush Cleaner, I get some pieces of kitchen roll, spray the cleaner onto the brush and wipe the brush on the kitchen roll. I spend about three minutes on each brush to make sure they're as clean as possible. I love how easy and mess free this product has made cleaning my brushes and on my next trip to Penneys I will be stocking up on this!

How do you clean your brushes? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post!
