Panic buying outfits is usually a total no-no, right? Well for the last few events I've been to, panic buying an outfit has actually worked out well for me. For example on Tuesday I ran into Topshop on Grafton street a few hours before an event and found the fabulous polka dot co-ord that you can see me wearing above. You can get the skirt here, and the jacket here. This time, not only did panic buying result in an outfit I loved wearing, but it has also ignited a co-ord obsession that I fear will never die. When I got home from Dublin yesterday evening, I spent more time than I'd like to admit scouring the internet and falling in love with so many co-ords so I thought I'd share them with you today.

First up is the leopard print version of my polka dot co-ord from Topshop. I very nearly bought this one instead, and am still very tempted to buy it still as I just love leopard print, no matter how tacky some may think it is! The thing I love the most about all of these co-ords is that you can wear them together, or break them up into separate outfits and wear them with different things. So many outfit options and possibilities!

Next we have this gorgeous pink corduroy number from Missy Empire. Until about a year ago I would never dream of wearing an all pink outfit, but now it's actually one of my favourite colours to wear, especially this dusky, "millenial" pink shade that's so popular now. The skirt also comes in yellow and black colour too, it's just a shame they don't have the jackets too because that yellow set would be so fab.

Leopard print co-ords seem to be everywhere and it looks like different coloured leopard print from the usual brown shades are very popular and while it might take me a bit outside of my style comfort zone, I kind of love it! These sets from the Pretty Little Thing X Maya Jama collection are sure to make you stand out from the crowd anyway!

Honestly I could sit here forever writing all about the co-ords that I love and all of the reasons why I love them, but for those of you who came to this post purely just for some inspiration or an excuse to shop, here are all of the co-ords that I've spotted and fallen in love with so enjoy!

I think the reason why I love the denim co-ord so much over the other types of co-ords that are out there is because I can wear them all with my slogan t-shirts. It's a really simple and easy outfit to put together, but if you have a brightly coloured or printed co-ord, the outfit looks like so much more and I love that! I hope you enjoyed this post and do let me know which is your favourite co-ord.

This post contains affiliate links. It won't cost you any extra if you choose to buy something through these links, it just means that I get a small percentage of commission for finding these fab bits and sharing them with you. You get to shop till your hearts content, and I get some shmoney to help fund my own shopping addiction, it's a win win really.

The Denim Co-Ord Obsession

19.7.18

I am a coat addict. There, I said it. I just can't help myself. All I want to do is buy coats, I mean can you blame me when it's so cold at the moment?! I'm sure a lot of you are the same. You go into a shop and instantly you're drawn to the rails of coats and jackets even though you've got enough at home to open your own shop...

There are so many gorgeous styles on the high street at the moment, from the teddy bear coats, to the aviator jackets, is it any wonder we love them? In the winter I love to wear a statement coat or jacket with a comfy/casual outfit underneath. It's simple and practical because thanks to all of these faux fur coats that are so on trend right now, you'll be kept as snug as a bug.

Since I love coats and jackets so much, I've obviously compiled quite a long wish-list so today I thought I'd share them with you, just in case you're on the hunt for the perfect winter warmer!

I think my particular favourites from this post have to be the jackets featured below. I especially love the red aviator jacket from River Island which is currently on sale (like I needed any convincing)! The studded biker jacket from Pretty Little Thing is another steal at just €21 and of course that gorgeous aviator jacket from Missguided with the deep green faux fur lining is just too fab.

Are you a fellow coat addict? What's your favourite style of coat or jacket? I hope you enjoyed this post and if you were on the lookout for some shopping inspiration, I hope it helped!
Thanks so much for reading.

How Many Coats Is Too Many Coats?

18.12.17

Wardrobe staples, aka a phrase that will help you to justify buying yet another knitted jumper, or in this case, biker jacket! Last week I shared some of my favourite slogan t-shirts (catch up on that post here) and lots of you said you liked this kind of post, so lets make it a regular gig shall we?

Next to slogan tees, the next item of clothing that takes up the majority of my wardrobe is biker jackets. I love them, always have, always will and I am all for every single shop bringing them out in all of these mad colours. The yellow biker in the picture above is from Penneys and was only €28, and the red faux leather biker is from Zara and is still pretty reasonable at just €50.

Biker jackets are a brilliant statement piece, especially if it's a colourful one like some of the ones I have linked below. They instantly transform an outfit and add that air of badass biker chic that I only wish I gave off naturally! Most of the time I pair mine with a striped or slogan t-shirt, a pair of jeans and Converse and even though it's a very casual outfit, the biker jacket gives a bit more interest to it.

Below is an Instagram example of how I style my biker jackets. I'm wearing the grey version of the €28 faux suede biker jacket from Penneys and I also have it in pink too because when I love something I can't help buying it in every colour possible!

Like I mentioned above, pretty much every single shop have some kind of biker jacket offering these days so there are lots to choose from. While I love how inexpensive the faux suede bikers are, I do have my eye on a few real suede ones from ASOS and also from Blank NYC which cost around the €150 mark, which is actually fairly reasonable as I have seen some real suede jackets costing upwards of €300!

I've rounded up some of my current favourite biker jackets below (you can click on the images to shop), so if you're on the hunt for the perfect one, hopefully I've made the search that bit easier! I've also tried to included lots of different price ranges and some of the jackets from the likes of Pull & Bear and Pretty Little Thing are very inexpensive!

Are you loving the biker jacket trend? What colours have you picked them up in? I'm seriously considering getting a blue one next time! Thanks so much for reading.

Wardrobe Staples - The Biker Jacket

31.8.17

From a quick glance at my Instagram you'll see that I wear some sort of slogan tee/jumper almost everyday, I love them. It's gotten to the stage where every time I go shopping I almost always pick up something with a slogan on it.

I love being able to wear some sort of sassy message and they definitely liven up an otherwise plain outfit, so today I've decided to write an ode to the slogan tee and share some of my current favourites with you!
