Five Transitional Outfits For AW

27.9.16

Hello! Autumn has definitely arrived and so has the AW stock in all our favourite shops! While I love Summer and the bright, sunny days, I much prefer Autumn/Winter style. Transitioning from summer to autumn style is a lot easier than you'd think, as you can still wear pieces from the summer, so today I'm sharing a few outfits I've put together for this season!

Sweater - Penneys - €12 / Jeans - Zara - €29 / Rain Mac - Topshop - €76 / Bag - Penneys - €14 / Adidas Gazelle - Schuh - €94

I pretty much based this entire outfit around this rain mac from Topshop! I absolutely love the bright red, it's such a classic, statement jacket (and also very practical).  Also, you can get 20% off Topshop at the moment when you sign up to UNiDAYS here! With such an in-your-face jacket, you can keep the rest of the outfit pretty casual, like this sweater from Penneys and a pair of ripped jeans.

I've been eyeing up a few trench coats and this one from Zara is one of the best I've seen. I've paired it with quite a neutral knit and jeans and then let the accessories do the talking so to speak.

One of the easiest outfits for the AW season is a dress, boots and a biker jacket. To mix it up a little I chose this knit dress since I loved the monochromatic style and paired it with this red biker jacket for a bit of attitude. I also love the pop of colour with all the monochrome.

The 'pyjama shirt' trend is pretty big right now, but sometimes it can look a little too formal, so throwing a long comfy cardigan like this one from iClothing over the top gives the outfit a more laid back feel.

Turtle Neck - Benetton - €119 / Skinny Jeans - H&M - €49 / Coat - Benetton - €119 / Bag - Penneys - €14 / Boots - Penneys - €17

Turtle neck jumpers are one of the things I love to wear the most this season and this one from Benetton is pretty much a hug in jumper form! Pairing with a bright coat and snake print boots make what could be a very 'boring' outfit that bit more interesting.

What are you favourite pieces to wear as we enter the AW season? Let me know in the comments! I hope you enjoyed this little 'style inspiration' post, thanks so much for reading!
