24 Hours In Cork

13.7.16

Hello! Last week my best friend and i took a trip to Cork for a little 'girls getaway.' We had such a good time and today I wanted to share with you where we stayed, where we ate and what we got up to!

The Ambassador is by far one of my favorite hotels in Cork. Previously I've stayed there and it's in Such a quiet location that's still With walking distance to the heart of the city. As you can see from the pictures above, the inside of the hotel is absolutely stunning, and our room was so big and bright with a stunning view of Cork! The staff were very friendly and helpful Which is probably the Most Important thing for me when staying in a hotel.

My favorite part of any hotel stay is the breakfast and The Ambassador Certainly does not disappoint. As well as the traditional full Irish breakfast buffet They Also Have a Continental style breakfast with pastries and fresh fruit. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Cork Then I highly recommend The Ambassador!

It goes without saying Coqbull That is my favorite restaurant in Cork, by a mile! Everything I've ever tried from here has-been amazing, From their delicious burgers to Their heavenly raspberry mojitos. They are very accommodating to vegetarians Also Which is a big plus as my best friend Shauna is vegetarian and we Sometimes Struggle With choice in restaurants. Currently Coqbull Have an early bird set menu (pictured above) for € 18 That includes a starter, main course and desert Which I think is a fantastic deal.

Live at the Marquee
The main purpose of our trip was to see Foals (one of my most favorite bands) in the Marquee. I'd never been to this venue for a gig before but we HAD Such a brilliant night and I'd definitely see more live music there!

We finished off our trip with a bit of pampering in 5th Avenue. I had the Coconut Pedicure and a set of nail extensions gel applied. The pedicure was one of the most relaxing experiences, with coconut milk, and coconut scrub and a pineapple lotion used to leave my feet soft and holiday ready. As for my nails, it was my first ever set of gel nail extensions so i went for natural very look. I absolutely love how They turned out and I'll definitely make the trip back to 5th Avenue in September for another soon!

Do you have any Recommendations of places to stay, eat or visit in Cork? I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you so much for reading!
